Happy Saturday everyone! If bringing you weddings all week wasn't enough we want to fill your Saturday with them too! We know you all just love a real wedding just as much as we do, so sit down with a cuppa and take a look at this week's Saturday Selection featuring sneak peeks from four lovely couples. From fun and laughs at at a carnival to an intimate wedding with only 50 people, this week's picks sure are a fabulously mixed bunch!
Hello Sunshine!
Our first lovely Saturday Selection couple Lorraine and Stephen first met at the wedding of a mutual friend. Gotta love weddings! They tied the knot themselves last year at the gorgeous Trudder Lodge in Co. Wicklow. They struck gold with the weather and enjoyed their first moments of being newlyweds with Prosecco on the lawn, mingling with all their guests and listening to the lovely Arklow Shipping Silver Band. Their gorgeous day was captured by Daniel from DK Photo and you can see the rest of the day here.
Perfectly Personal
Michael and Kate got married last August at the fabulous Ballymagarvey Village in Co Meath. Their civil ceremony was a beautifully personal one with stories and poems being read by friends. Once the ceremony was finished everyone spilled out onto the lovely grounds of Ballymagarvey for tea and cool drinks on the lawn. Their day was captured by Roger Kenny of The Portrait Room and you can see more of their big day here.
Fairground Fun
Kellie Ann and Ted had not one but two ceremonies on their big day, a fun one and a legal one! The fun one was up first and took place in very cool Spiegeltent officiated by their best friend. It was a beautiful, love filled ceremony with anecdotes and fun stories about the couple. After the ceremony they shot some really fun portraits at a carnival hopping on the carousel for a spin, the chair-planes and the big wheel! All the fun memories were captured by Katie Kav Photography and you can see more of her work here.
Craic agus Ceol
Claire and Nico got wed in a civil ceremony in Bellinter House last November and celebrated with a small intimate reception with 5o of their nearest and dearest. Beautiful bride Claire is from Donegal her handsome groom Nico hails from Italy. Even with Nico’s family not speaking a word of English the craic mighty at this wedding! Photographer Julie Cummins captured all the fun and romance of their day perfectly, to see more of their day check out the blog post here.
