The Gift of Love

Alan and Sinead got married in the beginning of April earlier this year. The couple chose to do a First Look before their ceremony which Sona from Inspired by Love captured beautifully. Groom Alan had rented a VW camper van as a surprise for Sinéad which she only got to see when they met for the first look! They then tied the knot in their local church in Two Mile House, and after walked to their reception down the road in The Brown Bear to join 35 of their nearest and dearest. You can see more of Sona's photography over on her website.

Sunset Kisses

Carol and Phil's intimate wedding took place in The Red Cliff Lodge in Spanish Point Co.Clare, a super venue looking right over the beach. With this incredible location as a backdrop the couple headed off with their photographer David Olsthoorn for some beautiful portrait shots in the evening light just before an amazing sunset over the Atlantic. If you're looking for ideas for wedding portraits to really treasure then definitely check these out. You can see these beautiful portraits and more over on David's blog.

Spookily Stylish

Fiona and Wes tied the knot in Autumn last year with a fun yet stylish Halloween themed wedding! The couple who both hail from Dublin chose to tie the knot at Castlemartyr resort in Cork as they wanted their friends and family to get out of Dublin and make a weekend of it (which I bet they did!). Halloween is the couples favourite time of year as it is around the time they first got together. The wedding was a DIY affair with Fiona and Wes creating lots of personal touches to add to the day as well as many of their friends and family offering a helping hand with everything from baking cakes to creating the florals for the day. Photographer Shane O'Neill from Aspect Photography was on hand to capture their day and you can see the full set of beautiful images over on his blog.

La Dolce Vita

Alfreda and Ciaran's wedding day was anything but traditional. They started with the Bloomsday charity cycle in aid of the Irish Youth Foundation in full Edwardian dress. After a quick dress change and a bite to eat in the Shelbourne Hotel it was off to City Hall to officially tie the knot before dining and partying the night away in Fallon & Byrne. The celebrations continued the following day with a fun "street party" complete with bunting, brass band, picnic tables, hog roast and dancing till late! One of the highlights for groom Ciaran was Alfreda's surprise wedding gift to him - a perfectly restored 1969 Vespa - a nod to her Italian heritage and Ciaran's love for all things Italian. Lucky groom! Photographer Kris McGuirk caputred their jam packed two days of wedding fun and you can see it in full over on his Facebook page.

Thanks to all our lovely couples and their photographers for sharing snippets of their big days with us, we're really honoured to be able to feature you all.
