Picking an unusual wedding colour palette is fun - check out these fern greens, rusty oranges and yellows for a beautiful colour theme!

Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day, I've got a beautiful feeling...Everything is going to be pretty pretty on OneFabDay today... Just a little wedding colour palette inspiration to start the week off . Thinking about creating a colour palette for a wedding is really hard when you just start off the top of your head. For example - take today's colours, if you said them out loud - Blue, Yellow, Orange & Red the first reaction would be, WHAT?! Sounds like a primary school crayon box! But as you can see it's far from it - this wedding colour palette is a blend of ferny green, grey blues, bright yellows and rusty hues and oranges.

It's all about the tones - the key to figuring out a great colour palette for your wedding is collecting items and pictures with the colours you like, build up your palette incrementally and then you'll see the colours emerging.  It's important to find a central image or two that really define the colours you're inspired by, everything else will work around that one.  It's often the most surprising and interesting places you will find inspiration - in the case of this wedding colour palette it's the picture of the rust that forms the central idea of colour.
