Looking back over the hundreds of beautiful and inspiring real weddings we featured this year, it's hard to believe that so much love and creativity can be squished into just 12 months. 2014 has been the year of the barn wedding, outdoor celebrations and overall it's been all about couples doing things their own way. We're so grateful that you guys love sharing your weddings with us, as much as we enjoy featuring them. As a thank you here are a small selection of our favourites from 2014.

Naoise

Naoise loved...Sarah & Eoghan's Mount Druid wedding by Katie Farrell

In so many ways Sarah and Eoghan's wedding is the epitome of what really is One Fab Day - a couple gloriously in love, celebrating that love with a lifelong commitment, having the party of a lifetime in a way that is really and truly them. Eoghan and Sarah are amazing. Their wedding in Mount Druid  is one celebration I would have loved to attend and Katie Farrell brings it to life in a way that springs from the screen.

Naoise also loved...Carla and Aaron's outdoor wedding and Sorcha and Gareth's epic Avoca café celebration.

Sue

Sue loved... Ferg and Alice's Dalkey wedding by The Mastersons

I loved the vibe of this wedding. It looks like it was just all about having fun and relaxing. The views of Dublin bay for the ceremony are amazing.

Karen

Karen loved...Scarlett and Tim's picnic wedding by Miki Photography

I love how this couple broke the wedding rules and threw a laid-back picnic reception and with great style too!

Niamh

I loved...Elodie & Jon's loft wedding by Say Cheers Photography

The most stylish couple of the year in my eyes. I loved Elodie's dress - alternative, but still distinctly bridal, plus she designed it herself! Jon's suit is just as impressive, and matched Elodie's dress perfectly. All this before mentioning the Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent shoes...

I also loved...Julia and Oscar's summer soiree and Rachel and Cormac's wedding.

Nicolette

Nicolette loved...Shanni and Mark's wedding by The Lous

I loved the floral patterns of the bridesmaid's dresses and the natural, beautiful look of the bride.

Helen

Helen loved...Amanda and Sean's Ashford Castle Elopement by Eric Savo.

I loved that the couple did their own thing entirely.  There was no theme, it was all about them.  Amazing photography and they both look so happy.  Everything about it is so inspiring.
