Groom James is from Harrogate in The UK, and bride Chloe hails from Limavady where the couple are now currently based. The couple met through work. The bride telling, "James said when he saw me on my first day he knew he was going to marry me!".
The proposal happened one magical Saturday morning at home. The bride laughs, "It was in our kitchen one Saturday morning. Lucy our oldest little girl who was 2 at the time ran off with the ring before I even had a chance to put it on!".
Once engaged, the couple set about planning a day for their 100 guests that was "relaxed and with a good flow". We’ll let the newlyweds fill you in on the rest of the deets…"As all of James' family and friends and some of mine would be travelling from England we really wanted a venue that we could have our whole day in the one place so our guests could settle in for the day as soon as they arrived."
And the perfect venue for their family-oriented celebration? The gorgeous Drenagh Estate in Limavady, Northern Ireland. "Apart from the fact it is so beautiful, I think from our first viewing we could just see ourselves getting married there", the bride says. She adds, "We also loved that we could use our home town as a base for our guests travelling over as everything was so close to home."
The bride describes their wedding aesthetic as "clean, fresh and timeless", adding "I'm quite a plain person and I don't like a lot of fuss, so I knew I wanted everything to be quite classic and fresh. Flowers were really important to me and I had a vision of fresh flowers on the Moon Garden circle from our first viewing at Drenagh."
The couple said 'I do' in the magical Moon Garden at Drenagh Estate, complete with a canopy, pastel blooms and rustic brickwork. Following that they had their reception in the old Georgian House and marquee nestled in the gorgeous gardens.
Two very important guests on the day were the couple's two little girls Lucy and Phoebe. Which the couple say having them there meant the world to them. "Our little girls were able to be there to see their Mummy and Daddy get married and they just had the best day they call it 'Our Wedding'." How adorable!
Chloe wore a breath-taking pearl embellished gown by Mariana Hardwick which she sourced at Indie Grace Bridal. She completed her bridal look with white heels by Badgley Mischka, pearl drop earrings from Liberty in Love, a full-length pearl encrusted veil, and her mum's bracelet as her 'something borrowed'.
Combined with her elegant upstyle and soft make-up, the overall effect is feminine, romantic and downright gorgeous.
Chloe wanted her best girls in pink, isn’t the effect of her maids in their satin blush Dresscode dresses just breathtaking?

Drenagh Estate most definitely does not disappoint creating many a dreamy backdrop for wedding portraits, but it isn't hard when you have such beautiful subjects!
The floral design throughout the day featured garden roses, scented stock, orchids, babies breath and white sprayed ferns.
How sweet is this area which the couple had set up for the kiddies? Perfect for keeping the littlest guests happy!
An idea we adore, Chloe and James hired a wedding artist to paint a wedding portrait live on the day. Love this idea too? Check out our feature on where to find live wedding illustrator, caricaturist or wedding painters.
Joined by their two little girls, the couple took to the floor as newlyweds for their first dance to Kodaline's "The One".
