If, like me, you're a bit of a fan of vintage (I'm a self-confessed crazy lover of every era), this wedding inspiration board should be just up your alley. I adore pretty much all the fabulous styles through the decades (except maybe the 70s) but the Art Deco period is a real favourite, and so today I've created an Art Deco wedding look. Characterized by rich colors, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation, Art Deco is perfect for the new return to luxury that's a trend for 2015 weddings.
Emerald and Navy Wedding with An Art Deco Twist
Using the basic elements of geometric and glamour that Art Deco is known for, I decided to bring it up to date with a more sharp and modern geometric edge so it's not too vintage-y. Emerald and Navy are the main shades, which are then accented with hints of gold and balanced with soft grey and white.A slightly more minimalist vibe ensures this palette isn't trying to hard to be a themed wedding. The beauty of this palette is that it would work equally well in a modern industrial setting as it would in a grand ballroom.
