If , like me, you missed out on an Electric Picnic Ticket take some consolation that we have a fashion festival to distract ourselves - and there won't be a tent or pair of wellies in sight. Taking place from the 5th to the 8th of September 2013 Dublin Fashion Festival is in it's fourth year and is only getting more popular - and unsurprisingly so.
Dublin has never seemed more invested in fashion whether in the from of Dublin's 9 Crow Street being featured in Vogue or the publication of our own fashion magazines - from the more established Thread to the new smaller independent magazines like Tabitha. Not to mention the wealth of independent stores around the city - for men and women alike. No longer is Dublin only a mecca for the standard high street store.
Dublin Fashion Festival is an annual shopping event which takes place over four days each year. There are over 250 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels taking part in the event, including the city’s 8 flagships: Brown Thomas & BT2, Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Powerscourt Centre, Arnotts, Clery’s, Ilac Shopping Centre (including Debenhams), Jervis Shopping Centre & Penneys. All stores we have featured on One Fab Day frequently.
Encouraging the growth of fashion in Dublin DFF brings fashion and beauty retailers in the city centre together, offering a mix of special offers, live fashion events and in-store activities. Events vary from stylathons, talks from established designers and street fashion shows - including one down the road from One Fab Day headquarters on South William Street. A weekend not to be missed by any style lover. For full details head over to www.dff.ie
