Today's engagement shoot is extra special, because almost a year ago this smitten couple won a fabulous One Fab Day prize - an engagement session with Ivana Patarcic. Back at the beginning of the year, as part of our Generous January campaign (keep an eye out for it next year!) Laura and Kevin won the opportunity to have some very special pre-wedding snaps created with the lovely Ivana. We love an engagement shoot, because it's such a great opportunity to get comfortable with your photographer and on front of the camera, and you get some lovely mementos of pre-married life too. So we were delighted when this fab engagement shoot landed in our mailbox, to see how they got on...

Before entering and winning the competition Laura and Kevin were living abroad in Australia. On their way home to Ireland in 2013 the pair stopped off in Krakow Poland, where Kevin popped the question.

Now living in Cork this stylish pair took a trip to Dublin for their colourful engagement shoot with Ivana. They chose an eclectic mix of places, including the Cake Café and some gorgeous colourful spots on Lower Camden St.

I love that both Laura and Kevin opted to go casual for their shoot, with some fun accessories to make the pictures really pop.

Using various locations is also a really great idea, giving you a variety of backdrops and creating more of a story for your shoot. Who would think this wall of green was in the city centre?

Shortly after their shoot Laura and Kevin tied the knot at Ballymagarvey Village in Co. Meath, congratulations you two - we hope you enjoyed the prize and had a truly amazing day!
