We've got some real eye candy on the blog today, with a beautiful wedding inspiration shoot that's all about romance and refinement. Captured by White Cat Studio, with styling and creative direction by Petal & Twine, this shoot takes its inspiration from Parisian glamour and French chateau wedding style, to create something that feels more Palace of Versailles than a country house in Offaly. The spectacular Gloster House creates the perfect backdrop for a shoot that proves you don't have to go far to find sophistication and luxury, right here in Ireland.
This bouquet is so beautiful - eucalyptus and ranunculus add a contemporary twist to the roses and thistles.
The back detailing on this wedding dress is just stunning.
The team wanted to add a little je ne sais quoi to the theme of their shoot, “The powerful beauty of French romance and extravagant image of an angelic Parisian bride were the two main driving forces behind this shoot.
Wow - now that is a wedding dress!
Even the furniture at Gloster House is beautiful!
A Juliet balcony inside the house, how cool is that!
The shoot really showcases Gloster House, a new exclusive hire wedding venue in the midlands. A 300-year-old privately-owned house that’s something of a hidden gem, it makes for an elegant and romantic backdrop, don’t you think?
Love the grey linens for a stylish update on classic white tablecloths.
Stylists, Petal & Twine decided to transform Gloster House into a chateau style wedding venue, in the Irish countryside, “By exposing as many interior features and using as many elegant decor and fashion elements throughout the entire photo shoot. A colour pallet of soft blush pinks and ivory was hand-picked for each design and styling composition incorporating floral decor.”
The gold flecks through the cake and on the truffles gives it a luxe touch.
It's hard to tell which flowers are edible! The sweet treats by Ms Cupcake Cork all look so gorgeous.
The stylists used a little smoke and mirrors to give the shoot some added magic, “The highlight of the photo shoot was a wow factor combination of dry ice smoke effect mystically floating over and around the dessert table. It was not only absolutely magical to watch, but it was also one of the trend-setting choices.”
So many pretty ideas for anyone planning to add a little luxury to their day. Thanks so much to White Cat Studio and the rest of the team behind this French-inspired shoot for sharing it with us!
