As much as we adore pretty pastels and muted rustic shades, we always get that little bit extra excited when a wedding bursting with colour lands on our desks. So, naturally, we are thrilled to share this bright and beautiful wedding inspiration shoot by Katie Rogers and Vintage Amy with you. Using a bold range of colours, the team behind this shoot have created a rainbow of inspiration for brides and grooms who aren't afraid to do something a little offbeat. Tempted?
Already this is so much fun...!
Katie Rogers talks us through what inspired today's colour filled wedding shoot... With spring on the horizon, bright, fun and unique was the starting point for this shoot. Vintage Amy, who designs and creates vintage styled weddings, wanted to emphasise that you can turn a village hall into a really personal and beautifully styled space.
Katie continues... Using bright blooms and bright lights, the shoot transformed the neutral venue into a riot of colour with a vintage feel, filled with little touches to reflect elements of a real wedding that a One Fab Day couple could take inspiration from. The passion for using beautiful and authentic vintage items in all of her weddings came after Vintage Amy styled her own wedding and decided it was time to continue on a mission to help other couples style their wedding too.
Yes, this is a bold look - but you could easily pick and choose single elements - such as the colourful confetti or coloured candlesticks - to add a subtle pop of colour to your wedding decor. You could even use items you already have at home. Katie explains... With a keen eye for detail, Vintage Amy crafted the shoot with carefully selected authentic vintage items from her personal and Íšher to hire collection, and a variety of quirky props and quality services from local suppliers who wanted to get creative on a styled shoot together.
As a final touch Vintage Amy put together a simple table plan using bright coloured frames. Such a simple yet effective budget wedding decor idea. We love!
If you love this look as much as we do head over to Vintage Amy for lots more creative wedding looks and ideas.
