Colourful in Connemara: Margaret & David

The style, the flowers, and the super laid-back vibes...

"So much love!" That’s how Margaret and Dave sum up their day in today's real wedding, and we couldn’t put it better ourselves. The bride from Galway and the groom from Ayr in Scotland made the trip from their home in Oxford to the wilds of Connemara for a laid back celebration at Rosleague Manor. The couple planned a cool and colourful house party, with on-point style, gorgeous florals, and spectacular landscapes, all documented beautifully by Pawel Bebenca Photography.

We have a mild obsession with Margaret's statement floral headpiece. Okay, maybe a major one.

Dave rocked the traditional Scottish wedding attire on his big day.

Margaret and Dave met almost ten years ago, on Halloween night, Margaret dressed as a clown and Dave as a gorilla at a party in Glasgow. “A few weeks later we were off on our first date!” the pair tell us.

Loving this bride's bold gold arm candy.

Margaret tells us that her groom picked one of the most scenic spots on the Thames to pop the question, “Dave got down on one knee under the lights of Albert Bridge in London”.

The hair, the lip, the boutique, the dress, what a babe!

With lots of colour and loads of smiles, it’s easy to see what priorities these two set for their wedding, “We wanted a big party with our close friends and family, stress free and without lots of fuss.”

The couple's ceremony looks really intimate and romantic, don't you think?

The couple sum up the vibe of their big day in Galway, “Fun and really relaxed, and surrounded by our friends and family.”

What a look! You know we love bridesmaids in white, but this trio took it up a few notches with their bright red shoes.

We know the landscape is stunning and all, but we've only got eyes for this modern wedding day style.

Planning from the UK, the couple were drawn to Rosleague Manor, “It’s a beautiful location, has amazing views of Connemara and it had a relaxed country house feel.”

So many spectacular location shots, they really add drama to this relaxed celebration.

The newlyweds have a short and sweet tip for other couples, “Enjoy all the planning and preparations too and make it whatever you want it to be!”

The couple were blown away by the support they had in the lead up to the wedding, “How much time and effort the wedding party, family and PJ (who also married Margaret’s parents over 40 years ago!) put into making sure we had the best day ever. So much love!”

These guys are jetting off to Japan soon for an amazing honeymoon! Bon voyage you two!

One cool couple with seriously covetable style. Thanks so much to Margaret and David for sharing your wedding with us and to Pawel Bebenca Wedding Photography for sending these gorgeous images our way.
