James and Maggie are one of those cute and casual couples who just make you smile. Not only that but bride Maggie has some seriously enviable style. James and Maggie's love story is a classic Irish tale. Maggie exclaims... We met in Kilkenny many moons ago. We were introduced by a mutual friend, she knows who she is!!

Enviably relaxed groom James proposed to Maggie while out for a walk and eating some ice-cream. A similar relaxed summer feel then continued on into the wedding day.

Many elements of James and Maggie's wedding are beautifully classic, but when it came to the bridal party style Maggie opted for a contemporary look. Each of her bridesmaids wore high-low skirts and beaded tops, while Maggie's wedding dress had a unique square neckline detail. Daring choices, that totally paid off. We love!

The wedding venue was the charming Step House Hotel in Co. Carlow which Maggie and James decorated with simple flowers and superhero table names designed by a pal. Maggie describes why they chose the Step House as their venue... We loved everything about it, particularly the gardens. We were lucky that the weather behaved itself and we got to avail of the outdoors. The food was also a big selling point!

Maggie and James are now in the midst of planning a honeymoon to South Africa and Mozambique. Huge congratulations to you both and thanks so much for sharing your Step House hotel wedding with us all.
