Our real wedding couple Victoria and Darren, celebrated their special day immersed in the luxury and grandeur of Grittleton House, a historic country retreat located in The Cotswolds. Surrounded by tranquil gardens and expansive, rolling parkland, Victoria and Darren hosted both their ceremony and reception on the grounds of this majestic estate. With pastel pink tones, elegant soft touches and opulent glamour, this sophisticated affair will give you plenty of inspiration for your own celebration. Wonderfully captured by Red Maple Photography, check out this couple's stylish wedding below!
Victoria and Darren's love story began with the pair meeting online, which blossomed into a relationship, and eventually led to an engagement during a romantic weekend trip to London to see a concert together!
Our radiant bride Victoria, who hails from Wiltshire, opted for a beautiful understated V-neck satin gown with a graceful draped train and stylish bow back detail. Victoria paired her bridal look with an elegant up-do, beaded veil, pearl earrings and a rose and eucalyptus bouquet. The couple's wedding bands also featured personalised engraving for that extra special touch.
The couple's main priority from the outset was to get married surrounded by their closest friends and family. 80 guests were in attendance for this stylish August wedding celebration which included a ceremony in the Grittleton House Orangery that overlooks the estate's idyllic Italian gardens. The pairs favourite ceremony reading was A Thousand Years by American singer songwriter Christina Perri.
Victoria's bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid wore a duo of beautiful coordinating blush pleated dresses and held matching eucalyptus and pastel pink rose bouquets. After the ceremony, the historic interiors and picturesque grounds surrounding Grittleton House made for the most spectacular photoshoot backdrop.
Victoria and Darren's reassuring advice for couples embarking on their own wedding journey: "Try and enjoy the planning, it will all work out beautifully in the end!"
Victoria and Darren's night went on to include plenty of emotional speeches, a gorgeous floral three-tiered naked cake, wedding party games and a first dance to Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars. After a whirlwind celebration, the pair jetted off to Singapore and Bali for a well deserved honeymoon.
A very special thank you to Victoria and Darren and Red Maple Photography for sharing this wonderful summer wedding in The Cotswolds with One Fab Day. There are plenty of more lovely images in the gallery below!
