I have to admit, I'm struggling to find the words to describe today's real wedding. Lovebirds Luca and Sara chose the most phenomenal venue for their big day, a literal palace in Northern Italy called Castello di Guarene, and flooded the gorgeous spaces with epic florals, luxe details and exceedingly generous surprises for their guests. The result is something between a retro Disney fairytale and an 18th Century royal banquet, sun-kissed, opulent and outrageously pretty. The team from Les Amis Photo captured the day in some beautiful photography, so let's take a closer look, shall we?
The word "palace" doesn't seem fancy enough for Castello di Guarene! It really is a once-in-a-lifetime spot!
Wedding planner and designer VisAVis tells us that the vision for the big day was all about "elegance and refinement." As you'll soon see, the couple and their team of suppliers nailed this brief!
Didn't we tell you that this ceremony space was something special? The exquisitely manicured gardens at the front of the Castello create an atmosphere that's equal parts epic and intimate!
From the gold, Parisian-style chairs, to the ornate confetti cone stands, to the epic flower arch, this ceremony has got such a luxurious feel to it!
Confetti canons and wild cheers from your nearest and dearest; this moment right here is what it's all about, folks!
In place of a traditional photobooth, the couple plumbed for a full dressing room set-up in the gardens, complete with costumes and a floral-adorned photo arch! I can only imagine the fun their guests had with this!
We have to take a moment to discuss Sara's incredible bridal look. Featuring a stunning cape veil, and lots of intricate lace appliqué, her Atelier Emè wedding dress is an absolute showstopper!
The colour palette for the day was based around a handful of beautiful, delicate colours; cypress pink, antique pink, champagne, creamy whites, and cold golds.
Sara and Luca kept the aesthetic details of the day clean and classic, to really allow their venue to shine. This glass candelabra is a perfect example, adding a splash of grandeur without making the reception space look too fussy.
It wouldn't be a party in a palace without a wax seal!
I think we can all agree that the cake table at this wedding was next-level!
The cigar bar trend is clearly not going anywhere!
One of the visual motifs on the day was a royal-style coat of arms, designed especially for the couple and bearing their initials, which featured on everything from the cake to the beautifully-packaged wedding favours.
What a breathtakingly beautiful bash! There are many more details to pore over in the gallery, so be sure to click through for a look. Before we leave you, we have to say thank you to Luca and Sara for sharing their big day with us, and to Les Amis Photo for providing the gorgeous imagery.
