One curious thing about becoming engaged, or in my case, getting involved in wedding world, is that many of us discover a new love of flowers. If you've been wedding planning for a while, you'll have noticed that florals are a huge theme when it comes to creating a look for a wedding. One thing about these floraltastic weddings, is that they're often quite pastel pretty, and that's not everyone's cup of tea. Pastel and pretty is beautiful of course, but sometimes it's nice to see something that little bit different. Today's floral wedding inspiration shoot is full of beautiful fresh vibrant colours, perfect if you love flowers but just aren't keen on pale pastels. Taking inspiration from the fabulous gardens the vibe of the shoot is very relaxed, with very unstructured boho styling - and lots of colour!
The colourful flowers, styling and stationery were all done by Love Bird Designs giving a very cohesive feel. To add a truly unique feel to this colourful look Lovebird Designs also included a carefully selected mismatch of prints. Gorgeous!
The table centres are again quite simple, and amped up with the a colourful mix of glassware. Jars, bottles and glasses like these can be easily bought around Ireland or if you're on a budget get family and friends to collect glass jars of all kinds in the lead up to your wedding. The bigger variety of shapes and sizes the better.

Gorgeous model Mary's dress is a vintage find and perfectly compliments the laid back easy feel of this alternative floral shoot.
For the groom's look is cute casual, mixing colours and fabrics with a cute bow tie and floral boutonnière.
If you're having an outdoor ceremony or even just an outdoor drinks reception these hanging embroidery hoops are a great way to amp up your surroundings. I love the simplicity of the white, or for something really special you could make your own personalised hoops (Etsy is chock full of different pattern designs!)
