Good Morning All! We are thrilled to share the intimate wedding celebration of Kate and Ivor. Today's lovebirds said I do in the stunning (wait till you see the interiors!) Bradbourne House, an historic mansion set in the beautiful English countryside of Kent. In perfect harmony with the gorgeous venue, Kate's antique dress is an absolute stunner - every vintage girl is going to love! This sweet and romantic wedding beautifully captured by Jess Petrie, is truly all about the couple, celebrating in a very personal way. Enjoy!
Kate choose a stunning vintage gown with lace detail and long sleeves. She snapped it up from a The Vintage Wedding Dress company, over 100 years old, this is a true antique. The beautiful gown was completed with vintage pearls from Kate's grandmother and a short tulle veil.
With a bride to be with so much style, Ivor had to keep on track with this style-a-thon wedding day. He went for a 3-piece charcoal grey suit and silk patterned Liberty tie, teamed up with some serious cool custom converse!
Kate and Ivor chose Bradbourne House in Kent to celebrate their wedding day and with stunning interiors like the ceremony room I'm not surprised!
The ceremony room is full of character with antique art and powder blue walls, a history buff's dream venue you might say!
Yay! It's official for Kate and Ivor, time to celebrate...
The lovedup newlyweds snuck off for some quiet moments with photographer extraordinaire, Jess Petrie, on hand to capture some beautiful portraits.
Bradbourne House is situated on stunning grounds, with an orchard, green house and meadow - perfect for a gorgeous photoshoot.
Back to Bradbourne House and what a greeting by the house's Toastmaster!
Barnbourne House is full of eclectic style and antiques, Kate and Ivor added some of their own style with pretty and feminine florals in mis-matched mason jars and vintage props. A beautiful running theme throughout the decor was the choice of a specific print by Liberty London used on the guest book, Kate's bouquet and Ivor's tie. A subtle but beautiful choice of decorative theme.
The newlyweds used a colourful vintage suitcase for guests to leave cards and presents -this is such a cool and simple idea!
The couple used images from their engagement shoot as table place cards with simple script and a typed version with a image of the couple as the menu card.
Absolutely love the punch of blue on the walls in the reception room, it makes the room so bright and airy. Keeping the look simple using baby's breath centre pieces with paper place cards.
Showing their fun side, Kate and Ivor custom made their guests place cards showing their personalities! Wonder who the little baby's toy is for? We're intrigued...
Mis-matched flowers are a beautiful decor feature. Kate and Ivor called on the talents of Florian Flowers to create beautiful blooms as a main theme through the day. Baby's breathe is used as chair decor and table centrepieces. With peach, pink and cream flowers mixed with foliage in glass vases on the bridal party tables.
The couple chose 'Romeo and Juliet' by Dire Straits as their first dance song, so sweet!
A beautiful way to end a romantic day under the soft light of the night sky. Congratulations to Kate and Ivor on their beautiful wedding day! Hope you're enjoyed being a pair of old marrieds...
