Two free spirits, Ines and Francesco decided to join their Italian and German families in Tuscany for a chilled, alternative destination wedding. Regular traditions were ignored and instead, Ines and Francesco did thing their own way with tattoos instead of rings, Ines wearing her mum's wedding dress and a divine outdoor Italian wedding feast - all captured by Memory Wedding Tuscany to inspire us today...
Memory Wedding Photography fills us in on some of the details of Ines and Francesco's love story... Francesco and Ines met each other in Australia where they both work. She's German, he's Italian and they decided Italy would be the best place to reunite with family and friends from all over the world. They share the love for the sea, dancing and the good cooking: they decided to get a matching tattoo, a fork and a plate of spaghetti, in place of the traditional wedding ring.
Their Tuscan wedding was chilled from beginning to end, with an outdoor ceremony under the sun and cheerful sunflowers throughout.
Ines wore her mother's wedding dress for the day, while Francesco opted for a stylish blue pinstripe jacket and pink trousers.
Memory Wedding Photography describes the wedding decorations... The vintage decor of the small farm was integrated into the wedding: the big wooden table and the pale blue chairs were the starting point of inspiration for the whole setting up. The centrepieces certainly were the most beautiful decorations, with the vintage brass candle holders and the summery garlands of myrtle, eucalyptus, wildflowers and especially eryngium, which gave the small touch of blue that was the theme of the wedding.
The Italian wedding feast was enjoyed under festoon lighting, before a further feast of local cheese. Idyllic...
Ines and Francesco gush... We would call it, boho-chic or country-chic in the amazing countryside of Tuscany. We loved it!
For their honeymoon, Ines and Francesco then returned to Australia for more sun and relaxation. Huge congratulations to you both and thanks so much for sharing your wedding in Italy with us all.
