The Best Festival Wedding Venues in Ireland

Woodland vows, tipi-style tents and glamping galore!

Of all the Irish wedding venue round-ups on the site, this one was probably the toughest feature to put together. It's not that Ireland is lacking in incredible wedding venues - quite the opposite, actually! - it's because it's hard to nail down a definition for a festival wedding, as these types of celebration tend to be characterised by the feel and vibe. Even in the One Fab Day office, we have slightly different opinions on the ideal festival wedding venue set up, but, for the purpose of this feature, narrowed it down to four factors, along with the obligatory countryside location: glamping accommodation, unique or boho-style tent spaces, unique outdoor areas, and the option to have a woodland ceremony. So, in choosing our favourite festival wedding venues in Ireland, this is exactly what we looked for!

The good news is that, if you're looking to throw a festival-style celebration in Ireland, you've got lots of options beyond the venues on this list. Any wedding venue that can be exclusively yours for your wedding day and beyond, known as an exclusive hire venue, is perfect for replicating the offbeat, colourful and spontaneous atmosphere of your favourite music festival, as are most alternative, country house and barn wedding venues. Outdoor spaces really add to the festival buzz, so garden party-style venues often fit the brief, too. If you've browsed the venues on this list but are looking for a couple of more options to add to your shortlist, we highly recommend checking out the following lists of recommended venues:

Mountain View

Tucked into the hillside of Ballyhale you'll find Mountain View, a beautiful venue perfect for weddings, parties, and events. With the ability to host celebrations from 20 to 220 people, this exclusive, private dog-friendly venue boasts amazing countryside views, warm hospitality and delicious dining at their Greenhouse bar and eatery. Featuring a renovated, rustic barn space, known as The Cow Shed with serious festival vibes, Mountain View also has five resident alpacas that can play a role in your special day for that added farm feel.
