Our real wedding couple Erika and Are tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor celebration at the glorious Monte Pacis in Lithuania. The venue features the breathtaking 17th-century Pažaislis monastery which made for the perfect backdrop to the pair's dreamy wedding ceremony and stylish alfresco feast. An intimate August wedding of 28, this spectacular occasion is not to be missed, with its charming tree-lined aisle illuminated by festoon lights, pastel floral arrangements and elegant candlelight. The couple who live in Norway, began a whirlwind relationship after Are spotted Erika, who hails from Lithuania while she was working at a beauty salon. He describes seeing her as being hit by lightning, and from then on he couldn't get her "out of his mind". After quite a long time, the pair began texting and then, after bumping into each other occasionally around town, Erika invited Are to meet up. Despite some initial shyness on their first date, Are soon let the extent of his feelings for Erika known, and the pair have been inseparable since!

What was techincally a second proposal took place in their kitchen after work on an ordinary Wednesday with the romantic gesture completely taking Erika by surprise! For her wedding day Erika opted to wear a stunning off the shoulder lace embroidered tulle gown, pairing it with a delicate pearl-beaded headband.

The religious ceremony took place outside on the grounds of the monastery surrounded by their closest friends and family. Preceded by her darling flower girls, Erika walked down the tree lined aisle while holding a gorgeous hand-tied bouquet filled with eye-catching pops of pastel yellows and powder pink roses, accented by foliage and wildlflowers.

It was important to the couple from  that their wedding felt romantic, real, not formal, with a good mood and lots of love. "We wanted people to be relaxed and enjoy the day together with us." Their advice to couples embarking on their own wedding planning journey is to "listen to your hearts for what you really want and be sure to choose the best team to fulfil your dreams!"

Erika's bridesmaids wore coordinating satin gowns in pale sage and pastel blue shades. After the ceremony, the couple took the opportunity to have a fun wedding photoshoot on the grounds of the venue, with the lush green surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for picture taking.

What a gorgeous setting! The reception took place outside under the canopy of trees, with the bright, colourful floral arrangements standing out against the crisp white table linen. Surrounded by the Lithuanian countryside, the night includes a delicious meal and plenty of speeches, happy tears and laughs.
