Verdant Vibes: Kelly & Paul-Dwane's Elegantly Fresh Tankardstown House Wedding

Crisp white and robin's egg blue against a luscious backdrop created a fresh energy!

This real wedding is bursting with detail and comes to you from the imaginations of Kelly and Paul-Dwane. Originally from Omagh in Tyrone, the couple chose to tie the knot in a small ceremony of 25 at the stunning Tankardstown House. Their celebration was captured so elegantly through the lens of Photography by Ciara. We think you'll love the result, but let's take a look and see.

The couple got ready at a private pre-wedding party that morning at Collon House in Louth. We just love the stunning gardens of the house!

Kelly's gold Jimmy Choos are the perfect pairing with her delicate white flowing dress. So elegant and beautiful!

First and foremost, we asked these two newlyweds how they came to meet. Believe it or not their love story is one that involves treadmills! Kelly tells us that herself and Paul-Dwane were members of the same gym. "We both used the same local leisure centre gym, going back 10 years ago. One evening Paul-Dwane plucked up the courage to get out of his comfort zone on the treadmill beside mine. He asked I fancied going for a run outdoors some weekend. We met, and it followed with a coffee and the rest is history."

The brides dress from Indie Grace Bridal was a melting pot of new and old world styles with a botanical embroidered pattern and a beautiful leg split. Simply divine!

Kelly says that the proposal came on her birthday and it's a day she will never forget! "We flew to Paris for my birthday. We went for a meal and decided to take a bottle of wine to the base of the Eiffel tower and sit on the grass. That was a birthday we will remember forever."

When it came to picking a venue, having a Tankardstown House wedding was always on their minds. "We fell in love with the orangery room of Tankardstown house. The panelled glass ceiling sets it apart from most venue rooms," Kelly tells us. "The staff throughout all the planning were incredible. No change was ever an issue, considering the ever changing restrictions at the time. They were prompt and efficient and made us feel like we were the only wedding they had booked that month. That’s special."

This wedding was the couple's third attempt to get married over 18 months and they decided to go ahead with the number of 25, down from an original 125. "The entire day turned out to be so much more than we had ever hoped for. It was so relaxed, but the atmosphere was just so magical. The sun shone bright, late into the evening and we even got to take our first dance outside with our guests on the gorgeous grounds of Tankardstown House."

The décor was simple, rustic and elegant with an emphasis on eucalyptus, the plant that symbolizes health, abundance and prosperity; we love that for a wedding! We are also big fans of this espresso moment snapped during the speeches, it's a yes from us for all things coffee!

The couple's advice for anyone planning a wedding is, "not to stress over the small stuff, and to savour the company of those around you. They really mould the memories of your day that you will cherish forever."

The couple spent their mini-moon in Adare Manor which they say was, "honestly heavenly." They then headed to Dubai in January for their honeymoon.

A massive thank you to Kelly and Paul-Dwane for sharing their dreamy Tankardstown House wedding day with us as well as Photography by Ciara for these wonderful images. There are more images for your to pore over in the gallery below!
