Being Irish, we're always immensely proud of the work of homegrown Irish design talent, so this morning we're delighted to be able to feature a beautiful shoot that showcases some of the new collection from fabulous design label Que-Va. Que-Va is the work of Caiomhe Keane, who provides bespoke tailoring services to ladies and gentlemen, producing small seasonal collections and taking commissions, Que-Va offers timeless and beautiful couture evening, formal and bridalwear. Incorporating her passion for sustainability fair trade and love for the environment, Caiomhe uses eco fabrics, organic silks, vintage, antique and reused trims as much as possible in her designs.
This shoot is intensely romantic and a real treat for the senses, so ladies we think you're going to enjoy the story as much as the clothes, Caiomhe explained... "The shoot was a story of a woman who is in a relationship but she is haunted by her past lover who taunts her. He is in the mirror and when she is alone she feels his presence, his hold on her. He is the spirit of the dark crow, but her love is strong and she longs to be free of him, so as she watches out the window as her new love walks past with the horse and she dreams of a new love story!"
Caiomhe's current collection shows her whimsical and romantic dresses paired with military inspired warm tailored jackets and coats. Most of her silks are organic and her wools and cashmere are sourced in Europe, the leather trims are recycled.
