Following on from Monday's neon wedding inspiration post we thought it would be really fun to go head-to-head again in a Wedding Guest Outfit Challenge (did you see the Winter one we did) this time taking the neon trend so hot for Spring 2012. Don't worry we're not thinking of fluorescent dresses and jumpsuits - we've got more cop-on than that! Each of us - Naoise, Susan and Karen each chose a dress and picked out a set of accessories from a range of siopas across all price ranges. The idea was to see if we could translate a high-fashion trend into something truly wearable as a wedding guest.

First up is my own (Naoise) pick of a pale blue dress from Zara (€69.95). I chose citrus colours and complementary acid blue for my accessories.

Susan chose to go monochrome for her dress, this beauty is from Reiss and a little pricier at €225, but something that is definitely going to hold its value over a number of seasons. Her take on the neon accessories concentrated on tones of bright pink, strong coral and electric blue.

She paired hers with a variety of neon bejewelled accessories - infinitely more longevity in these than my fluoro shoes! The bag, I want the bag....
