I don't know about you, but when I think about wedding fruit cake, I think of a dense, currant-heavy bake or a rustic sponge adorned in strawberries. But there's a new wedding cake trend for fruit cakes that are modern, stylish and little bit different. Topped with figs, pineapples, pomegranates, coconuts, pears, peaches or kumquats, these wedding cakes are a little bit opulent and exotic.
