Oh this vow renewal is just too cool, too stylish and too romantic. I love it! Melania & Houston are a pair of artists who tied the knot in Tennessee, before bringing the celebration back to Melania's home in Spain, to repeat their vows. Wearing a gorgeous tulle skirt with a simple grey jersey top, Melania was an effortlessly gorgeous bride, with Houston rocking a smart grey suit, killer man bun and motor bike. I told you these guys were cool! True Romance Photography were there to capture this loved-up couple and their celebration in the colourful town of Mijas in Andalusia.
Love this half-up plait - such a gorgeous low-key look!
This skirt is just unreal! I love it when a couple get ready together, it's so intimate and romantic!
Melania & Houston met online. Both artists, Houston came across Melania’s work online and fell in love. He reached out to her on Facebook expecting not to get a reply, but to his surprise she responded! From there on, their relationship continue to grow. Melania tells us, “We talked for six months before we met in person. It was the scariest most exciting day of our lives.”
The couple returned to Melania's native Spain to celebrate their nuptials with the bride's family.
Anyone else thinking of just buying a skirt instead of a dress for your wedding? This look is so cool!
Houston planned the perfect proposal, with a little help from his family. Melania said they had talked about marriage a few times in the past, so she wasn't expecting much a big romantic proposal - especially when he took her for a drive on the back of his dirt bike, "He drove me around the mountain where he lives, and took me to a bluff where you could see the valley. His family had prepared some drinks and flowers there before we arrived. He was on his knee before I could say anything." Now that's pretty sweet!
The couple describe the vibe of their day as bright, warm and simple. Since their main ceremony was in Tennessee, they wanted “more of a casual feeling”.
For their renewal, Melania and Houston chose to solely focus on their love for each other, rather than splashing out on flowers or decorations, "What I think made it special was the time, we didn't spend all day here and there, there was no cake or dance, it was just two people making it official, that we plan to be together forever!" We didn't really care, we just wanted something simple. We were lucky enough to have people to help us who understood this."
Loving this colourful backdrop!
Melania's advice for other couples, it's just one day, so it's not worth being stressed about, "Make it special but simple, remember the main thing here is your union, is a symbolic day, don't spend it worried about a playlist or some centerpieces."
Congratulations to the Melania & Houston and thank you so much for sharing your special day with us all. A big thanks to True Romance Photography for sending these beautiful images our way.
