We ask all of our real wedding couples what their vision for their wedding day was, and almost everyone includes the words relaxed, personal and simple. Of course these words mean a little something different to everyone, but if the relaxed and simple vibe (with an injection of personality) is what you love then today's wedding inspiration shoot is the one for you. Inspired by stylish Scandinavian minimalism stylists The Wedding Spark and photographer Jesus Caballero Photography put together a stunning wedding look incorporating some 2016 trends combined with effortless paired back beauty. Perfect for pinning and inspiring an effortless wedding day look.
The Wedding Spark explains the concept behind today's shoot..."We teamed up with brilliant fine art photographer Jesus Caballero to put together a Nordic bohemian look for this shoot. We wanted to create something that showcased clean lines and flowing silhouettes with lots of natural light and some geometric accents. Wintry whites and greys were our key colours, and we included pops of bright pink to add warmth and brightness."
The Wedding Spark continues..."The covered garden and private dining room at The Imperial proved the perfect place for the shoot – the stripped pine tables, stacked logs and white brickwork were ideal for our minimalist, Nordic look. We were able to indulge our love of succulents, which featured in gorgeous panel centerpieces and hand tied bouquets (we’re now smitten with glitter dipped succulents!) The place settings featured hot pink origami hearts coupled with classic grey calligraphy name cards, and a stunner of a cake decorated with deep green foliage and antlers completed the tablescape."
Emanating that effortless Scandi cool look the models were dressed in simple Elizabeth Dye wedding dresses, with subtle details such as the large bow tie and retro billowing sleeves. Both dresses were given a more contemporary feel with modern hair accessories including a dainty geometric tiara.
If you'd like to replicate this look make sure to keep the major elements simple and paired back just like today's team of stylists have successfully done. Add personality and impact in the little details such as origami place names in a bold shade, a hot pink or similar toned variety of flower and lots of vibrant greenery - which is both cost-effective and super pretty.
A big thank you to the team involved for sharing this beautiful wedding inspiration with us today - in particular The Wedding Spark and photographer Jesus Caballero. To see more from Jesus Caballero visit www.jesuscaballero.com
