It’s official: copper is having quite a moment. From fashion and home decor to weddings, copper is stealing the scene lately and we couldn’t be more excited. While this bright metallic hue has been overshadowed in the past (we’re looking at you, gold!), it's making it's big debut in weddings for 2016. Today we are pairing this bold metallic with beautifully simple organic elements such as botanics and marble. This Copper and Green Wedding Inspiration is wonderful for any time of year with its effortless styling plus blooms & foliage that is available all year round.
How to create this Copper and Green Wedding Inspiration
- The Stationery: Choose a stationery suite with a simple design and copper elements.
- The Style: Send your bridesmaids down the aisle in soft flowing dresses chosen from the tones above and the groomsmen in a light tweed or dark grey linen. For the bride a simple, romantic gown paired with fine jewellery and a softly styled braid paired with a baby's breath or foliage crown.
- The Florals: This look is all about keeping it simple while creating an impact. Choose greenery such as eucalyptus, Russian olive, herbs such as rosemary and keep flowers to a minimum - gypsophila (baby's breath), ranunculus, anemones and even succulents for added texture. You could even add in herbs such as sage and rosemary at table settings and in boutonnieres to add to the organic look and feel.
- The Decor and Cake: Decor should be kept to a minimum, using organic elements wherever possible. For cake choose a marble confection with a simple topper.
