Glitter, gold and more glitter sums up Rachel and Chad's phenomenal wedding at Blanc pretty perfectly. A decadent and dreamy pair, Rachel and Chad created this impact filled wedding rather simply with clever use of decorations and a superb venue choice. Ali V was on hand to capture the day, and did so with equal finesse and envy inducing style...
Both lovers of rock climbing Chad and Rachel met through a mutual friend, and then got to know each other at their local climbing gym. They dated for a few months, but when Chad wanted to get serious Rachel wasn't so sure. She explains.."Chad wanted to make the relationship official, but I was a bit hesitant. One night while climbing together, I fell and dislocated my shoulder. Chad was there throughout the whole ordeal - taking me to the ER, letting me drive his car (since mine is manual), and being sure to take care of me throughout the next couple of weeks. That opened my eyes to how much he genuinely cared for me, and the rest is history."
Like many of our clever brides Rachel could sense a proposal coming. She told us..."He took me up to one of our first date spots (Echo Lake / Mt. Evans) and pretty much cut right to the chase. The real surprise was all of our friends ambushing us at my house to party and celebrate afterwards."
Chad and Rachel's stunning venue of choice was the aptly named "Blanc." An epic all white space, Blanc was the perfect blank canvas for Chad and Rachel's luxe glitter and gold wedding décor.
Such stunning glitter bridesmaid dresses, and a total babe of a bride too...
The stunning Blanc was decorated with impact using hanging gold dipped feathers, rich deep red flowers and a mixture of both plain and glittering sequin tablecloths. Paying careful attention to detail the clear perspex chairs were also specifically chosen, adding a contemporary feel to the celebration.
To ensure they enjoyed their wedding as much as possible Rachel and Chad hired an on the day wedding coordinator - which they (along with us) would highly recommend. Rachel explains..."I didn’t want me, our wedding party, or families to have to lift a finger on the day of, so a coordinator was necessary. That way I was able to enjoy the day and be fully present to celebrate with all of the important people in our lives. Basically the number one priority was for guests to sit back and enjoy."
After their wedding day Rachel and Chad honeymooned locally at Pagosa Springs. Huge congratulations to you both, and thanks so much for sharing your wedding day with us all.
