Having gotten engaged outdoors, and both being lovers of nature and the outdoors it was only fitting for Robin and Andrew to marry outside overlooking the most beautiful natural landscape. A magical location, Robin and Andrew enlisted the help of the talented Paper Antler to capture each moment and their light filled wedding portraits are the stuff that wedding photography dreams are made of...
A sorority girl, Robin first met Andrew completely by chance. Both members of University of Wisconsin in Madison at the time, Robin and her sorority were preparing for an audition when their rehearsal pianist cancelled. Knowing Andrew was a piano player, a member of the sorority asked him to fill in. He did, and a few months later Andrew asked the gorgeous Robin out.
Together ever since, Andrew asked Robin to marry him during a hike in Arches National Park in eastern Utah. Andrew nervously surprised Robin with a ring and a bottle of champagne, and she of course said yes.
Both lovers of the outdoors Andrew and Robin chose to marry overlooking the serene scenery of Whistling Straits. Robin told us..."We both love the outdoors, the backdrop of the golf course, and the beautiful blue Lake Michigan. The combination made it feel like we were in Ireland. It was a stunning setting."

Making the most of their surroundings Robin and Andrew nipped away for some dreamy portraits with Paper Antler before returning to their relaxed reception meal and Talking Heads cover band.
Letting the outdoors and scenic surroundings speak for themselves Andrew and Robin kept all of the wedding décor ultra simple, with stationery designed by Andrew's sister and sprigs of aromatic lavender at each guest's table setting.
Andrew and Robin describe their day..."The weather was beautiful, and the entire event concluded with an epic dance party. It was truly the ‘perfect day’ and neither of us would have changed anything about it."
