Platforms have been back for a while, and the hidden-lift platforms are a godsend to those of us more vertically-challenged. There is a philosophy that bridal shoes should be fairly flat and practical, but personally I don't buy it. I love my heels, am well able to cope for hours in them, and this is one occasion when I will be treating myself to a nice new pair of skyscrapers.
