Today we thought we'd start a new little series of posts specifically designed to answer the most common question we get asked: Where To Find... Sourcing things for a wedding can be quite a pain - hours of combing the web and schlepping round the shops in search of that must-have item. We get dozens of emails each week asking us for help, so we thought they might make useful posts. First up: Where to Find Giant Balloons? Also known as Cloudbuster balloons, these are easily the thing we get asked about most whenever we have an event - like 3 weeks ago at The Glitter Studio when we had a big balloon arch framing the entrance. So here's the lowdown...
These huge balloons are perfect for creating a wow effect, adding a little fun and whimsy to the wedding photos, and are ideal for creating impact in a large space. There are a variety of options - plain coloured balloons in various sizes, confetti-filled balloons and foil balloons. Something to bear in mind when buying these is whether they're filled or not - helium is actually very expensive and a standard canister will only fill one or two giant balloons. Also they will only last for 24 hours before they start to droop so don't count on one bunch lasting for a weekend event - you will need to have replacements if you want your decor to stay fresh.
