One day while grocery shopping our groom Marc spotted the beautiful Robyn and just couldn't get her out of his head. Serendipitously, days later he saw Robyn in the local paper and took it as a sure sign. One thing led to another and before they knew it Marc and Robyn were saying their I do's in Robyn's parent's gorgeous garden wedding along with their beautiful little daughter Flynn. The sunshine and DIY décor filled real wedding day was captured by Bianca Rijkenbarg Photography, and we're delighted to share it with you today.
Not your typical love story Marc and Robyn first met in the super market. They stood in line together, along with Robyn's pet chihuahua and then parted ways - no names were exchanged and Robyn thought that was that. A few days later Marc saw Robyn on the front of the local newspaper, as she was opening a new beauty salon in the village. Intrigued Marc got in touch with Robyn via social media and they've been together since.
,
Countless dates later, and after the birth of their gorgeous daughter Flynn, Robyn proposed to Marc in their home surrounded by balloons and personalised garlands.
Elated after hearing about Marc and Robyn's engagement, Robyn's parent's offered their back garden as an idyllic wedding venue, which Marc and Robyn excepted without hesitation. As Robyn sweetly admits, "the garden was perfect, it was a real fairytale."
Robyn's cousin performed the ceremony music and the garden was decorated with lots of DIY décor, creating a very relaxed and easy going vibe.
To keep everyone entertained Marc and Robyn set up a whiskey and cigar bar and DIY photobooth for the adults and a cute and colourful area for the kids, complete with pastel macaroons and colouring books.
Unusually Robyn and Marc opted for a phone and camera-free, or unplugged wedding, which they would highly recommend, they explain,"We had an unplugged wedding, and we loved it. No other people cameras on you all day, only our photographer, with the best pictures. No mobile phones, so people were really enjoying the day to its fullest!"
A huge congratulations to you both and thanks so much for sharing your wedding day with us all! A big thank you also goes to Bianca Rijkenbarg Photography for sharing her work with us, to see more fromwed visit www.biancarijkenbarg.nl
