Pretty as a Picture - Ciara & Jonny

With lots of pretty Pinterest inspired décor...

Before their own wedding Ciara and Jonny had been to many hotel weddings, and while each was lovely, the couple realised that for their own celebration, they wanted something completely different.  And so it was that the unusual space that is the Mill at Ballydugan, a local spot for them both Ciara and Jonny, became the location of their big commitment to each other. It allowed them to put a personal spin on every element (with a lot of help from Pinterest) and create the perfect home from home in which to celebrate. We're delighted to share their beautiful day courtesy of A Cinematic Life.

With the perfect local venue found Ciara's sister in law introduced her to Pinterest, where Ciara swiftly found a wealth of too good to be true inspiration. "A lot of my inspiration came from Pinterest which my Sis in Law introduced me to as I had never heard of it. Many family members helped with the centrepieces and bunting and the rest of the décor was thanks to Sweetheart Vintage Weddings and Events. Our cake was also Pinterest inspired, a 2 tier rustic buttercream cake. It was made by the awesome Grainne Holland at The Cakery based in Downpatrick. She made is exactly the way we wanted and it tasted amazing."  Pretty Pinterest décor aside one of the most special elements of the wedding for Ciara and Jonny was the ceremony, which was performed by a close family friend. "We had Father Anthony Owens marry us as he was a cousin of my Granny's and a friend of Jonny's family which was very special." After their ceremony Ciara and Jonny hopped in their vintage Beetle before dancing the night surrounded by floral bunting and blackboard signage.

Huge congratulations to you both - and thanks so much for sharing your wedding day with us all. A big thank you also goes to A Cinematic Life for sharing their work with us. To see more from A Cinematic Life visit www.acinematiclife.com
