Today's wedding inspiration is all about achieving that fun summer vibe... kick back and enjoy some bright pops of colour mixed in with some fancy floral prints and dreamy watercolours. This sun-soaked colour palette is sure to get guests feeling relaxed and summery (and ready for a bit of a party!). We see this wedding couple as being the chilled surfer type with a fun sense of style. Don't be scared to go bright and bold with colour, as the watercolour floral effect tames it all down, making it the perfect combination for a beautiful outdoor setting. This theme is certainly in keeping with the 2015 wedding trend of bright and beautiful weddings!
How to Achieve the Colourful Beach Wedding Look
Style: I see this as a very relaxed and fun look. You could go boho and beachy with a soft flowing gown, not too structured and very feminine. For bridesmaids watercolour florals are just gorgeous (here's few samples we've put together for you in our Pretty in Print post).
Stationery: Opt for bright colours but in a watercolour wash to keep the look more dreamy and light, not so strong. A swirling font in gold will really make the invites stand out.
Flowers: Choose vibrant flowers in pops of bright colour like fucshia, yellow, orange and green. Try using bright pink roses mixed with vibrant green foliage, yellow-centred open peonies and brightly coloured dahlias.
Decor and Cake: Add fun elements to your decor like bright watercolour cake tiers, fun tropical themed drinks stirrers and floral bow-ties for the groomsmen.
