Today we are delighted to share with you a stunning wedding inspiration shoot at the charming Ballyvolane House. Taking inspiration from the soft hues of an Irish spring, Ivana Patarcic and Lovebird Designs have brought together a mix of vintage and modern elements to create a romantic wedding look which should appeal to girlie girls and modern sophisticates alike. To match the pretty pastel spring theme, Pearls Cake Parlour created a trio of delectable cakes, in powder pink and blue with accents of gold foil. We told you colourful wedding cakes were the hot look this year. And this proves how a beautiful wedding cake becomes a showpiece in its own right at the reception. Almost too good to eat...
The theme of this look was touches of spring blending modern and vintage, so the bridal look combined stunning two piece dresses hand crafted by Sue from Sue Pearce evening and bridal, with romantic tousled hair and some very striking makeup - glittering gold eye shadow? Love it! Definitely a statement look.
With those striking eyes, the lips were downplayed with a light pink lipstick. Hair was kept simple and fresh, lightly curled and topped with a glittering hairband to offset the sparkle of the dress.
Keeping things soft and pretty, the table was decorated with a dusty pink table runner, vintage china, mismatched candlesticks, a selection of gold woodland animals and lush Hyacinths.
Table names were replaced with dainty table numbers in simple white frames. These gorgeous little framed numbers where then complimented with custom designed stationery from Lovebird Designs in soft watercolour hues.
An alternative look was provided with fresh flower crown echoing the same tones as the bouquet and arrangements - blue hyacinth flowers combines with waxflower and foliage, and a couple of pretty pink ranunculus to balance the palette.
