Grooms are taking over, food will be served from trucks and weddings are returning to glamour with a capital G. Looks like 2015 is going to be a very different year for weddings. From a mountain of research over the past few months, we've put together our list of the 10 Biggest wedding must-haves this year. Some are pretty surprising. Some are really exciting. The question is: are any of these going to be at your wedding?
1. Glamour and Luxe
We are seeing a little less of the rustic and DIY weddings (don't worry they are still on trend) and have noticed that glam weddings are slowly making a comeback in the last few months and we predict that we are going to see a lot more in 2015. Think classically elegant brides and dapper grooms in tuxedos as well as beautifully executed decor. For some real wedding inspiration check out Siobhan and Tom's very glam wedding.

2. Cascading Bouquets
There is nothing subtle about the new bridal bouquet trend: the cascading bouquet is big, bold and quite a handful (pun alert!) If you're passionate about flowers and looking for something a little bit different, cascading, flowing, or long bridal bouquets are the ones for you. We'll be featuring lots this year we're sure.

3. The Groom Takes Over?
Bad news for (some) brides, grooms are becoming more and more involved in every aspect of the wedding planning. Over the last few years, grooms have been really impressing us all by adopting great style, but being dressed well isn't enough. It's their day too, so us ladies have to relax the control a little and allow them to get involved. Speaking of style - a key look for grooms that's really going to take off this year is the mix and match. No more matchy-matchy, this is about coordinating a look across the groomsmen but giving everyone their own individuality.

4. Colour is Back with a Bang
Pastel palettes will always hold a special place in our hearts but we must admit we are getting very excited about brighter colours making their way into 2015 weddings. Bold and fabulous, adding bright colour and pattern is the perfect way to create a big visual impact for the event. Check out our recent colourful palette here as well as Nicki and Alex's fabulous colour pop wedding here, both helping in inspiring 2015 wedding trends.

5. Stylish Bridal Seperates
Fashion star Olivia Palermo definitely set the trend late last year when she wed in a three-piece bridal outfit by Carolina Herrera consisting of a cream cashmere sweater and white shorts covered by a full satin and silk tulle skirt. The bridal houses went wild and sent tons of wedding separates down the runways for 2015.

7. Coloured Wedding Cakes
Move over rustic naked cakes and soft iced confections, traditional fondant cakes are back with a bang for 2015. These aren't any old plain white cakes, so many beautiful creations have been popping up, in all the colours of the rainbow and they're gorgeous. Recently we posted about gorgeous blue fondant cakes to give you an idea of what's possible, and we've picked out lots more gorgeous examples to showcase so keep an eye out.

8. The Grown Up Hen Party
From glam spa weekends away to vintage style tea parties, classy hen dos based around a great day and evening experience are on the rise. Bridesmaids in 2015, your mission is to organize a night the bride will remember forever, rather than one she would rather forget! Gone are feathery pink L plates, cheesy slogan t-shirts and strippers. In their place, floral hair garlands, handmade sashes and creative activities. But don't fret - cocktail-fuelled fun is still high on the agenda.

9. White Bridesmaid Dresses
Four years after Kate Middleton broke the mould with her choice for Pippa, brides every where are starting to warm to the idea of bridesmaids in white dresses. Some of the most high profile celeb brides last year, Solange Knowles and Poppy Delevingne, chose white bridesmaids dresses. So if you're considering it for your girls, you'll be in good company.

10. Food and Drink Trucks
Last but not least, the food truck phenomenon is taking over at weddings in a big way. From retro Airstreams to cutsey caravans and vintage Citroen H Vans, every vehicle has been converted to provide a unique service. Afternoon tea from Vantastic Vintage, pulled pork and brisket bbq, gourmet wood-fired pizzas, Mexican street food, donuts, cocktails even Eddie Rockets on Wheels. They're pretty, cool and make a great decor centrepiece for a drinks reception or outside area during the afters. Could this be the most popular of the 2015 wedding trends?
