A Fairytale Castle and Festival Fun Wedding

Brian and Ruth tied the knot last summer in the Unitarian Church on St. Stephen’s Green, surrounded by 100 of their nearest and dearest.  Brian and Ruth's friends and families are fantastic musicians and singers and were lucky enough to have them participate and provide the beautiful music on the day. After taking some snaps in Dublin city at the Iveagh Gardens and on Grafton Street the couple headed off for their festival themed reception at Bellingham Castle, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth and photographer Gareth McGaughey was on hand to capture all the festival fun.

A Truly Irish Celebration

Naomi and Colum tied the knot in St. Patrick's Church, Glencullen nestled in the Dublin Mountains.Their ceremony was just a stone's throw from the world famous Johnnie Fox's pub and their guests found their way there after the ceremony. After the guests quenched their thirst the party moved on to the stunning Knockree Hostel in Enniskerry. The sun was shining on Naomi and Colum's big day and the wedding was a food lover's dream, which was a big deal for bride Naomi who manages at The Happy Pear in Greystones. A Dreamy DIY Retro Day

Susan and Paul entered a photography competition and were the lucky winners to have their wedding photos taken by Denise Leacock Photography. Their wedding was very personal, small and relaxed with a cute 1950s theme. Bride Susan created most of the wedding by hand herself from the bouquets to the table centerpieces. Ardtara House in Upperlands was the perfect venue for their reception, which was completely private so they had the place to themselves. Location images were taken in and around Upperlands and Kilrea and all the scenes were carefully thought out by Susan and Paul to match their retro theme: from old petrol pumps and telephone boxes, to an abandoned factory and vintage tea rooms! A Stars and Stripes Christmas Tree Filled Celebration

Ben and Kate live in Washington DC but returned to tie the knot in front of their closest friends and family on Kate's home turf. What resulted was the sweetest outdoor ceremony held in the field next to Kate's childhood home were guests perched on straw bales and Christmas trees lined the aisle. There were stars and there were stripes, lending themselves to a clear colour scheme of red, white and blue. The bride and groom had photographs in the grounds of Kate's childhood home which included a field of Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes. Kate's father had grown these for years and they had such special significance, a wonderful addition to their bridal portraits by Kate Scott Photography. See the full wedding over on Kate's blog.
