Continuing our look at the gorgeous gunas from this season's New York Bridal Fashion Week, today we turn to the Grand Master of New York couture - Mr. Oscar De La Renta. Last year John Galliano took the reins at the fashion house and his signature was clearly all over the main lines, but the bridal continues in a similar vein to previous collections - simple silhouettes embellished with copious amounts of lace, applique and razored tulle. So the Oscar De La Renta 2014 wedding dresses are just what you would expect for Park Avenue Princesses - pure romance.

The 2014 Oscar De La Renta bridal collection centres on two main silhouettes for this season - feminine fishtail gowns (figure-hugging shapes with a kick out at the heel) and classic A-line skirts balanced with caplets, long sleeves, and intricately detailed bodices.

Two years on, the Kate Middleton effect is still in evidence in all the 2014 shows, but none so obviously than this particular gown by Oscar De La Renta.

Strapless was the way to go for at least half of the 2014 bridal collection, with simple bodices extending down to heavily detailed and embellished skirts.

And the grand finale in the colour of the 2013-2014 season - blush - a princess dress reminiscent of 1950s Dior, with strapless ruched bodice  extending into a grand a-line skirt with lace applique and more than a hint of girlie gorgeousness.
